Dj David Strong first came to prominence in May 1987 as the new kid on the block at the infamous "Flikkers Niteclub". David was a crowd pleaser and natural, he became an instant hit. It wasn't long before he headlined on Saturday nights. After a devasting fire "Flikkers Niteclub" was burned to the ground. It wasn't long before David was back behind the mixing decks at a new trendy Club "Horray Henry's" where he spinned discs 4 nights a week. A year later, Dublin became host to yet another new club "The Shaft". David was approached by the owner to guest DJ and then became the resident DJ. In 1991 Dave moved to the UK and was soon back behind the decks at various venues across London.

In 1995 David moved back to Ireland and once again was in huge demand, this time he secured a residency on the legendary Leeson Street strip. During this time Dublin Nightlife was in transition and a lot of after hours and underground clubs were opening at various locations across Dublin, David was at the helm for many of these events which were a huge success. In 1996, David while visiting London with some friends was asked to Guest DJ at "The Tea Dance at The Limelight" David jumped at the chance and a few weeks later moved back to London to a regular residency at the 'Limelight' for 3 years.

2009 was particularly busy with several Dance projects released, 2010 was another amazing year, two Megamixes were released by Almighty Records to Almighty Club Members as part of their 20th Anniversary Celebrations. In August the 'Gayfest 2010' CD was released on Klone Records which includes a DJ David Strong Non-Stop Mix. 2011 seen 'DJ Rio's School's Out Mix' [Almighty Records] being sent out to Almighty Club Members. Also completed for 'Newton' the second long awaited Album is a Non-Stop Drive Time Mix which remains unreleased. In 2012 David completed a dance megamix "100% PURE FYLF" for Fylf Music which was available from Amazon worldwide and i-Tunes!

In 2016 David worked with FYLF Music again, he produced a 'Heavenly Pop Megamix' for the B:Linda Project Album release which features 10 Belinda Carlsile Dance remakes. If you are a fan of 80s pop and Hi-NRG this album is a must. Available from www.fylfmusic.com or as a digital download bundle from iTunes, Amazon or Google Play stores. February 2016 David compiled and mixed the CD Promo giveaway for Anthem Old Skool Reunion - Hi-NRG Night at the Royal Vauxhal Tavern London. Later in June David was asked to compile and mix the CD Promo giveaway for Anthem Old Skool Reunion - Almighty Night Out at the Royal Vauxhal Tavern London. Then in August David mixed the Alan Connor - Straight Through The Hit Mix and it was released on HWC Recordings.

2017 - David teamed up with SanFranDisko aka Paul Goodyear to work on the Iconic Dance Classic 'Man2Man - Male Stripper' for the 30th Anniverary Edition release on Sounds United in March 2017. In February - David compiled and mixed the CD Promo giveaway for the second annual Anthem Old Skool Reunion - Hi-NRG Night held at the Royal Vauxhal Tavern London. Most recenty David was chosen to begin work on a new Non-Stop Album for Academy Street Records due for release in April/May, more news soon.
