Bio

Dj David Strong first came to prominence in May 1987 as the new kid on the block at the infamous "Flikkers Niteclub". David was a crowd pleaser and natural, he became an instant hit. It wasn't long before he headlined on Saturday nights. After a devasting fire "Flikkers Niteclub" was burned to the ground. It wasn't long before David was back behind the mixing decks at a new trendy Club "Horray Henry's" where he spinned discs 4 nights a week. A year later, Dublin became host to yet another new club "The Shaft". David was approached by the owner to guest DJ and then became the resident DJ. In 1991 Dave moved to the UK and was soon back behind the decks at various venues across London.

In 1995 David moved back to Ireland and once again was in huge demand, this time he secured a residency on the legendary Leeson Street strip. During this time Dublin Nightlife was in transition and a lot of after hours and underground clubs were opening at various locations across Dublin, David was at the helm for many of these events which were a huge success. In 1996, David while visiting London with some friends was asked to Guest DJ at "The Tea Dance at The Limelight" David jumped at the chance and a few weeks later moved back to London to a regular residency at the 'Limelight' for 3 years.
